Abstract The paper presents the application extent of procedures for structural integrity and life with examples of failure. Further development of research is focussed on constant deformation and damage monitoring in order to take full advantage of computer tech-nology. The stereometric method for monitoring deformation is presented with an example of application, and possible systems for constant monitoring structural integrity that implement new techniques.
