Abstract

In the last few years a demand for improving the energy efficiency in building has emerged. Due to these require-ments, special attention is made to prove the best possible performance of the products installed in buildings. Numerical and experimental analysis of the hole-clay block filled with mineral wool is performed to obtain values of the heat transfer coefficient. The experimental analysis for obtaining the heat transfer coefficient was performed in accordance with the SRPS U. J5.060 standard, while the numerical thermal analysis was performed using the freeware THERM software, whose calculation method is based on the standard ISO 15099. A comparative analysis of experimental and numerical results is shown. The fire resistance value for a wall made of hole-clay blocks was obtained experimentally. The wall was tested in accordance with SRPS EN 1364-1 standard.
