Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to present a study of transi-tional stresses and displacement conditions in a rotating disk subjected to variable load and constant density parameter. It has been seen that the radial stress has a maximum value at the internal surface of incompressible materials as compared to compressible materials. This means that the incompressible materials are more comfortable than com¬pressible materials. Numerical results are presented and explained with the help of graphs.
