ESTIMATION OF BUCKET WHEEL EXCAVATOR DEPENDABILITY USING FUZZY ALGEBRA RULES

Abstract

An evaluation model for bucket wheel excavator dependability is analysed in this paper. The model is formed to introduce fuzzy sets theory in dependability analysis regards to performances of reliability, maintainability and maintenance support, as well for synthesis of dependability from the lowest to higher level of excavators’ structure. Dependability is used as the most complex performance that covers in total the quality of service for specific technical systems, and fuzzy sets theory is introduced as a convenient mathematical model that gives mutual synergy to calculations with hybrid data.
