PHYSICAL-CHEMICAL CHARATERISTICS OF WATER BASED ENVIRONMENT IN THERMAL POWER PLANTS AND ITS EFFECT ON THE STRUCTURAL MATERIAL Sonja Vidojković JP Powerplant "Nikola Tesla", Obrenovac, Serbia |
Abstract Physical-chemical properties of impurities in the water/steam cycle are presented that are significant for deposit formation on the surface of structural materials in thermal power plants. An example of sodium sulphate is given and shows the solubility in steam dependence on temperature and pressure. The “arc” diagram of coefficient of impurities distribution in water and steam is presented. A brief description on the multiactive effect of impurities on metal in the water/steam cycle is given. Keywords: water-chemical cycle, physical-chemical characteristics, solubility, coefficient of impurities distribution |
