CORROSION OF WELDED JOINTS

Abstract

The paper presents most often types of corrosion in welded joints: galvanic, pitting, intercrystalline, stress corrosion, and hydrogen embrittlement. Testing methods of the presented types of corrosion in welded joints are described with procedures for prevention.
