Abstract

Design systems for anticorrosive protection of power plant equipment by coatings based on one coating type or combining several types are presented, with reference to their application and advantages. Basic properties of principal coating components applied in anticorrosive protection of power plants are shown. Functional properties of designed protection systems are tested according to the purpose and service conditions. Described anticorrosive protection systems of power plants are a result of long term application.
