Abstract

Development of the International Fracture Mechanics Summer School (IFMASS) is described as the basis for founding of the Society for Structural Integrity and Life (DIVK). Various DIVK activities in the 2001–2006 period are: conferences, seminars, courses, journal “Structural Integrity and Life,” international cooperation, IFMASS.
