A CENTURY OF CHARPY IMPACT TEST

Abstract

The development of impact testing according to Charpy in last century is briefly described. Two publications, devoted to the jubilee of this testing are cited and most important contributions to its development presented. The role, use and development of impact testing in Yugoslavia are underlined.
