Abstract

After bombardment, the structure of furnace in platforming BA-301 to BA-304 had been repaired and pipes were replaced in furnace series 300. According to the operating process, pipe material and corrosion process, and results of testing, both destructive and non-destructive, pipes that have been replaced in 1997, were assembed back, including their butt welding inside the furnace. Non-destructive testing has determined the "zero" state and enabled structural integrity and life assessment of furnace.
