As soon as the basic necessities were satisfied after NATO bombardment of NIS-RNP refinery, the Renovation Programme has been approved by NIS. This Programme has been carried out successfully both from the point of view of quality of performed work and short deadlines, so that already by the end of year 1999 the first phase was completed, and by the end of 2000 also the second phase, enabling the start and full production. Practically from each technical and organisational point of view, the activities described here represent the unique experience both for NIS-RNP and for about one hundred companies who performed the renovation.
